Set off from Pointe Croisette, at Palm Beach
The outing starts at our water sports base in Cannes. Before launching, our team explains the equipment, recommended route and landmarks for reaching the turquoise area. Tell us about your experience and how much time you have so we can help you choose an appropriate outing.
“L’Escale Turquoise” is our name for this little coastal spot. Our team explains the route before you set off.
Kayak or paddleboard: two ways to enjoy the coast
In a kayak, you paddle seated, solo or in pairs depending on the equipment you choose. It is a pleasant way to share the outing, enjoy the scenery and move at your own pace. The briefing covers basic strokes and instructions; choose a rental period with enough time for the outward trip, your stop and the return.
On a paddleboard, you explore the coast from a board. Start on your knees and stand up when you feel comfortable. Our two-hour rental is ideal for the return trip to L’Escale Turquoise, leaving time to enjoy the route and a pause. Adjust the plan to your confidence and the conditions.
Follow the coast and enjoy the journey
The enjoyment begins with your first paddle strokes. Let the coastline guide the outing: notice the shape of the shore, reflections and changes in the water’s colour. Keep a steady, comfortable pace and enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
Follow the route explained by our team and stay within the authorised area. This outing follows the Cannes coastline. Crossing to the Lérins Islands by paddleboard is prohibited; choose a suitable kayak option if you want an island excursion.
Pause at L’Escale Turquoise
When you arrive, pause to enjoy the water and scenery. What we love here is the feeling of taking a real break close to Cannes. The light changes the atmosphere, so enjoy the place as you find it that day.
You can simply stay on your kayak or board and enjoy the moment. If you are considering a swim, ask the team beforehand about suitable arrangements and instructions. Respect other users, protect your belongings from the water and take all your rubbish back with you.
Plan the return and prepare your outing
Save time and energy for returning to the base: your rental period includes the entire outing and your stop. Respect the agreed return time and departure instructions. If conditions do not allow the planned trip, the team will recommend an appropriate alternative.
Bring drinking water, sun protection and suitable clothing. Our base welcomes outings from May 1 to October 15. Contact us to choose between a kayak and paddleboard or organise an outing together: we will help you plan your Escale Turquoise.
