How do I book my kayak?
Choose a full day, half-day or sunset trip, a date and an available hire period. Set off when you like from 9 am within that period, with no fixed departure time. Enter the number of participants and your contact details, then confirm. Keep your confirmation: payment is made at the base.
How long does it take to reach the islands?
The Lérins Islands are around 15 minutes from our base at a gentle paddling pace.
Is the route suitable for beginners?
Yes, the route to the Lérins Islands is suitable for beginners. A briefing at the base covers the route and instructions before you set off.
What time can I set off by kayak?
From 9 am, at a time that suits you throughout the day. There is no fixed departure time: come when you like, subject to availability and weather conditions. Hire times show the available period and latest return time.
How do group rates work?
For 5 or more people on the same booking, each participant gets €5 off: €30 for a full day, €25 for a half-day or €20 for sunset. The discount is applied automatically.
Can I book a paddleboard online?
Paddleboards do not need booking: come straight to the water sports base — boards are always available. Trips are subject to weather conditions. Online booking is for kayaks to the Lérins Islands.
How many people can use a pedal boat?
A pedal boat can accommodate up to 6 people.
Can I bring a picnic and personal belongings on the kayak trip?
Yes, you can bring your picnic and personal belongings. They will be stored in waterproof barrels or waterproof backpacks, ideal for exploring the islands.
Can I safely leave my kayak on the island while I go for a walk?
Yes, you can leave your kayak on the shore while you explore. Pull it well onto land, far enough from the water that waves cannot carry it away. Kayak theft is not a problem on the islands.
Are there restaurants on the islands?
Yes, Sainte-Marguerite has restaurants and kiosks selling sandwiches. On Saint-Honorat, La Tonnelle restaurant welcomes guests by reservation.
Where can I rent a kayak in Cannes to explore the Lérins Islands without a guide?
At Kayak & Paddle Évasion, at Pointe Croisette (Palm Beach) in Cannes. You can head out with or without a guide. Before you leave, our team gives you a briefing and recommends a route suited to your interests and abilities.
Where can I go stand-up paddleboarding in Cannes, and how much does it cost?
Visit us at Pointe Croisette to explore the Cannes coastline by stand-up paddleboard. Hire costs €10 for 30 minutes, €15 for one hour and €25 for two hours. Come straight to the base; no booking is needed. Crossing to the Lérins Islands by paddleboard is prohibited.
Where can I rent a pedal boat in Cannes for an outing with family or friends?
Our Pointe Croisette base offers pedal boats for up to six people. Hire costs €20 for 30 minutes or €25 for one hour, with an extra €5 for the relaxation platform at the rear. Come straight to the base; no booking is needed.
Can I explore the Lérins Islands by kayak at sunset?
Yes! Kayak & Paddle Évasion offers a sunset package for €25 per person, or €20 per person for groups of five or more. For a longer outing, the full day + sunset package costs €45 per person, or €40 per person for groups of five or more. You can book on our website.
