Your first paddleboard outing in Cannes: finding your balance

You do not need to feel confident standing on a board before trying paddleboarding. Start gently, with a briefing and a suitable route along the coastline.

Get comfortable with the board first

Before departure, our technical adviser explains how to get on the board, use the paddle and move gradually from kneeling to standing. Ask for a demonstration if a movement feels unfamiliar.

Starting on your knees lets you discover the glide without trying to master everything at once. You can kneel again during the outing. Enjoyment is not measured by how long you remain standing.

Explore the coast with the base’s advice

Set off from Pointe Croisette at Palm Beach. The team suggests a route for your experience and the day’s conditions. Crossing from Cannes to the Lérins Islands by paddleboard is not permitted: choose kayaking for that trip.

Keep a first outing simple and stay on the agreed route. Calm-looking water beside the beach does not tell you everything about conditions farther away. Follow the team’s advice when planning your paddle.

A short introduction or a longer outing

Rental costs €10 for thirty minutes, €15 for one hour or €25 for two hours. A short session can introduce the sensation; more time lets you enjoy the coastline without rushing.

Bring sun protection and ask how to manage belongings. Book online or come to the base. A duo paddleboard is another option for two people sharing the same board.
