South of Sainte-Marguerite, six large face sculptures by Jason deCaires Taylor rest underwater. They lie around a hundred metres from shore, at depths of three to five metres. A mask and snorkel let you observe them from the surface when visibility allows.

Observe without touching the artworks and respect the seabed. Museum access is free; kayak and equipment hire are separate services.

Reach the site during your kayak outing

Your outing starts at our Pointe Croisette (Palm Beach) base in Cannes. During the briefing, tell us you would like to visit the museum: we explain the route towards Sainte-Marguerite, landmarks and where to arrange your stop. Visit the sculptures by swimming; your kayak takes you to the area.

The crossing to Sainte-Marguerite takes around 15 minutes. This is not the full journey to the museum on the southern shoreline. Include paddling, your stop and the return in your rental duration. Our team adapts its advice to your pace.

Mask and snorkel hire: €5 per person
